Safety Rules

1. Renter assumes all risk as to the bounce house, knowing and understanding that bounce houses do pose some risk of injury and damage as a result of the obvious nature of the activity in a bound house (falling, being crushed, bumping heads, etc.).

2. The unit must remain securely held down and anchored before any occupants are allowed to enter.  The ride shall not be moved from the location of installation and shall not be located near a pool or water slide. The unit requires a secure power source for the blower, including a ground fault protected circuit (GFCI).

3. All occupants must remove their shoes before entering unit and should not bring in valuable articles, potentially dangerous items, backpacks, or anything extraneous, including glasses, dangling jewelry and sharp objects in hands and pockets.

4. All occupants must be assisted when entering and exiting the unit and cannot jump into or off the unit.

5. No climbing, hanging or pulling on the nets, sides, top, or back of the units.

6. No roughhousing, pushing, shoving, fighting, somersaults, diving, wrestling, flips or horseplay in, on or around the unit.

7. Occupants must be instructed to play at safe distance from others and away from the sides and entrances/exits.

8. Anyone with head, back, neck or any muscular-skeleton injuries or disabilities, physical or mental impairment, pregnant women, children under 3 years of age, and others who may be susceptible to injury SHALL NOT be permitted in the unit at any time.

9. NO riders should be allowed on a partially inflated unit.

10. The blanket should be used on all sides at all times.

11. All extension cords, straps and sandbags should be placed in such a manner that no one can trip on them.  Also, no electrical cords should run through puddles or near a pool.

12. The adults supervising the ride, before operating the ride, must familiarize himself/herself with the ride's entrance/exit as well as escape hatches.  In the unforeseeable event the power is interrupted and the ride begins to lose air, the Attendant must immediately guide all the riders to calmly and orderly to leave the ride via the entrance/exit.

13. DO NOT operate the bounce house when raining or if the ground is wet.  Risk of serious injury due to slipping hazards and electric shock from the blower exist.

14. Keep children away from blower while plugged in and/or in operation.  Ensure that the power source is sufficient for the power requirements of the blower.  Do not insert foreign objects or body parts into the blower.  Do not block, move, or tamper with the blower in any manner while it is in operation.  Never operate the blower without safety guards in place.

15. In the event the bounce house is rented for more than one day, it is Renter’s responsibility to inflate the bounce house the following morning to dry out any overnight dampness to the bounce house.

16. The bounce house will be re-inflated upon its return and inspected for damage. If the renter chooses to deflate the equipment prior to the arrival of the pick-up attendant, it must be re-inflated before it is packed up.

17. All occupants must be sorted by size.  Only occupants of the same size should be allowed in the unit at the same time (for the protection of small event-goers).  The renter is responsible for ensuring that the size and number of persons entering the inflatable does not exceed the maximum.

18. FOOD, DRINKS, CANDY, ANIMALS, SHOES, SNEAKERS, SANDALS, SILLY STRING or SHARP OBJECTS are NOT allowed in the bounce house at any time.  Rentals that are set up on hard surfaces such as concrete or asphalt must be closely watched to prevent their moving.  If the equipment moves off the provided tarp, damage or staining may occur on the bottom of the unit.
